About The CEA School: The CEA school is an alternative High School with students with severe special needs. The CEA School serves multiply disabled and students on the autistic spectrum, between the ages of 12 and 21. Our goals are to teach students self-awareness, resiliency, and accountability pertaining to their behaviors. We strive to assist our students in the learning of valuable life skills crucial to achieving success in the world after graduation. We teach our students how to build on their strengths and adapt to their disabilities. |

- Reinforced and maintained a safe and positive classroom environment for all students
- Taught, assisted, and redirected students with severe special needs (Autistic, E.D., physically disabled, etc.)
- Differentiated instruction working with students 1:1 as well as in a whole or small group setting
- Assisted and taught various social, work and life skills. (Activities in Daily Living, Transition)
- Collaborated and assisted Special Ed. teachers, social workers, speech and occupational therapists
- Communicated effectively with parents/guardians
- Documented and rewarded positive behavior and student achievements
